Shipping Information

Shipping for Domestic orders up to 3 Pounds is automatically calculated within the Bricklink system. 

MINIMUM shipping charge is $3.99 for Domestic up to 4 ounces and includes delivery confirmation.

International shipping is not automatically calculated. Minimum shipping to Canada is $12.00 for up to 8 ounces. Minimum shipping to Europe, Australia, Asia is $16.00 for up to 8 ounces. (Total shipping weight includes bubble mailer/box, baggies, bubble wrap, etc.)

All orders will be charged actual postage plus approximately $1.00 to cover packaging/shipping materials (baggies, bubble wrap, padded mailers, boxes, tape, labels, ink & paper, etc.).

Insurance, express shipping, guaranteed delivery services, etc. are available upon request and at customer’s expense.

Domestic

Orders will be shipped by the most economical method, including Priority Mail (see ‘Priority Mail Rates‘ chart), First Class (see ‘Domestic First Class Rates‘ chart), or FedEx Ground.  Priority Shipping is based on weight and we always take the highest estimate when calculating shipping manually.  If we can get your order packed into a Flat Rate box, we will do so and refund the over-payment amount.

Delivery Confirmation is included for all domestic orders. Insurance, Priority Mail, and Express Mail are available by request, and at the buyer’s expense.

*** We cannot guarantee delivery dates/times. If you need your order quickly or by a certain day, please e-mail us at bricklink@toybrickbrigade.com BEFORE placing your order. We will then let you know if we are able to invoice and ship in time. We cannot guarantee the delivery times once we hand it over to the Post Office unless an expedited service is paid for (overnight, 2nd day, etc.). We will provide the delivery confirmation number or tracking number on request. ***

Orders shipped within Idaho and New Jersey will be charged the appropriate state sales tax.

Part Quality

Used Parts: Toy Brick Brigade handles hundreds of thousands of used LEGO parts. Pieces will very between what we could call “Like New” and “Acceptable” conditions, but should not be damaged, broken, or severely worn/faded unless noted specifically in the item/lot description.  We work diligently to sell only high quality used LEGO® parts, however, there may be an occasion where part(s) may slip through our QA. If you are not satisfied with the quality of our parts just let us know and we will gladly offer replacements (if possible), store credit, or a refund.

New Parts: All new parts come directly from sealed sets. Since sets come with various pieces bagged together and the bags are loose in the box, there may be minor scratches/scuffing from pieces rubbing together. Instruction booklets may have bends or folds as they are also loose in the package when we get them.

Business Hours

Monday through Friday except on US Holidays.  We are in the office typically between 12 pm – 6 pm EST.

Orders are invoiced, processed, and shipped Monday through Friday.

Orders placed after 5 pm EST may not be processed/pulled until the following business day.

Email is answered Monday through Friday. We attempt to answer all email & messages within 48 hours during the business week. Sometimes it may take longer – especially if we are researching your request, if that is the case we will generally let you know that the request is taking longer so you know we are working on it.

Please check your junk mail folder or send a reminder or alert before assuming that we are ignoring you; many times we have found that a customer’s email program had filtered out our email into a junk mail folder.

What Happens Next?

We have “hold order open” as a shipping option, for people who are not done shopping/adding to the order. If you choose this option, wait until you are all done before you make payment.

After placing your order you can track progress by checking the status. They are as follows:

  • PROCESSING: Orders in “Processing” status are orders that have had shipping calculated, have been invoiced and are waiting for payment. An order is generally in “Processing” status the business day after it is submitted – sometimes it is 2 days. Invoices are sent when the order is set to “Processing” status. The invoice will have a grand total that includes shipping charges. The invoice may also include a credit for any parts not in stock and insurance or special processing fees if requested. Please check the seller comments section.
  • READY: Order is awaiting payment by the buyer.  This is typically when we have to price shipping manually or adjust the price for some reason.
  • PAID: Once you have received your invoice with the shipping charge included, the next step is for you to pay. Once payment is received the order status is changed to “Paid.” If you pay by personal check your order will remain in “Ready” status for up to 7 business days while your check clears. It will then be set to “Paid” and shipped the next business day.  If you pay with PayPal manually (not through BrickLink), it will delay the order by up to 1-2 business days since we’ll need to process the payment manually.
  • UPDATED: If you choose to purchase more LEGO from the store before your order has made it to “Packed” status, it will automatically be added to your current order and the status will change to “Updated.” Updating the order will start the process again with the “Processing” step. If you know that you will be making updates to your order, please make a note in the comments and/or send us an email and we will not invoice you until you are done.
  • PACKED: Orders in the “Packed” status typically mean that your order is packed and ready for the daily mail/package pick-up but it hasn’t left our warehouse yet. It will be changed to “Shipped” once the package has actually been handed off to the postal carrier or put in the box for pickup (once it actually leaves our shop).  Sometimes your order will also appear in “Packed” status if we are missing a piece and we are searching for it before it goes out, but we will try to message you if your order will spend more than 1-2 days waiting for missing pieces.
  • SHIPPED: This status means that your package has been picked up by the shipping company or postal service.
  • COMPLETED: This is an important status – this status is set by YOU! By setting the status to “Complete” you are confirming that you have received the package. This is also a good time to leave feedback on your order. If there is and issue with your order, please contact us before completing and/or leaving feedback and allow us the opportunity to rectify any problems.

Most requests regarding rush shipping, alternate addresses, part condition requests, etc. can be put into the comments section of your order.

Other requests & inquiries outside of the specific order should be sent to bricklink@toybrickbrigade.com. These would include inquiries about part condition or type of parts that you have not already ordered, quantities not listed in the catalog, etc.
